Vodafone phones in japan are pretty nice too. Generally, the functionality of Japanese phones are nice to me, from barcode scanning to paying for soda.
In hk, we have the 八達通 octopus cards. That functionality had been granted and implemented into many cell phones in japan.

well, other than the size it's a nifty phone. WM5 OS, touch screen and wifi. still to research on OS tweaks and such. main board memory is 64MB and with the standard programs running im only left with about 12MB free. browsing is straight forward, screen is clear and bright. the keys are small and a little flat so gotta type with the tips of my fingers. stll to see on call reception and qual since i just switched from cingular to t-mob. was considering a SK3 but the touch screen and WM OS sold it.
the new HTC s710 looks fuggin SWEET. WM6 and so pretty...
