ya...i hope u didnt pay the 1000+ for the fuel pump...

get a cheap aftermarket pump for $75-100 and it installs in an hour....(that i have in stock)

that is IF that is the problem. I would offer to drive to patterson fix it myself in their parking lot and i'd only charge you 1/4th of their price lol

Let me know if i could be of any assistance. Cory

The fuel pump

The hill have eyes did not give me trouble. I thought they may try to hold on to my car or whatever. None... thanks god. Even if they try to hold my car, my lawyer friend will talk to them. It's good to know one.

The hill have eyes got it somewhat right. The labor was so much because they want to take the fuel tank out... but ya... they don't work on subaru so I don't blame them. Just not comfortable to have them work on my car.

I called Turlock Subaru and they gave me a quote as well but Ed save the day.

Turlock labor
$99 to check your car and consol (I can just tell them to install fuel pump and do whatever so they don't charge me for figuring it ou what's wrong)
$99 to install fuel pump
$49.50 to install fuel pump relay

No fee for car storage
I can drop my car off at night... don't have to sign anything.

I got AAA now... and some good experience.

Thank you all for your support!!!
