shoes being placed on the cars, wtf?? as for the ice cream, are they smearing it all over the car or just dumping it on the hood or roof?

yeah, the shoe thing on the xb's was kinda funny but still, thats not the point. the ice cream looked like a drive by thing as it hit the rear and splattered down the side of the car when it was parked on the street.

i think having security camera is for a peace of mind for yourself and also deter some people from vandalize or theft.
Of course if they really want to rob your house. Like franco say.. no amount of security will save you.
Same goes with car alarms, kill switch , locks.
Since jeff's house is basically on a corner 1-2 camera would be nice to monitor the driveway and front door.

I'm getting fed up with my house & cars getting vandalized; from egging, ice cream, breaking in, attempted break in through garage, etc. Any suggestions or experience for entry level home surveillance? Perhaps something will let me get one step closer to finding the scum.
But on a second note, are you trying to do something funky... like **** on surveillance... you did have the ice cream thing going
Just kidding... I don't have vandalize problem but I have freaking cat problems... they come to the backyard and party...
