Home surveillance suggestions
I'm getting fed up with my house & cars getting vandalized; from egging, ice cream, breaking in, attempted break in through garage, etc. Any suggestions or experience for entry level home surveillance? Perhaps something will let me get one step closer to finding the scum.

Well Im somewhat in the physical security business for the government. The cheapest most effective thing you can start out with would be motion activated lights in your front yard. Usually the lights turning on is enough to scare away any would be vandal. Alarm your vehicles. Start a neighborhood watch program because chances are you are not the only person in your neighborhood who is having ths happen and are fed up with it. Contact your local police depatment and see if they can start sending a cruiser through your neighborhood a few times between the hours of 11pm and 3 am. Key thing to remember if you catch the people call the police do not confront the people. Remeber even if this little douchey douch is vandalizing your stuff and you kick the crap out of them you are going to jail longer than they will for assault, and possibly being sued. Good luck sorry about your mis fortune.

Why don't you just move to an area with less crime rate
