So I took out my WRX to LACR for the first time today. Was wondering what other people were running with their WRXs? I ended up dropping 1.5 sec on my 1/4 between my first run and my best run. My 1/4 times still suck ***** though..
i am betting that your hitting in the mid 15seconds for stock right???
what is your 60ft iy ou need to get your 60ft down to about 1.7 1.5 that should get you into the mid 14's seconds the launch on an AWD car is real crucial. It's not about dumping or side stepping the clutch you have to feather/slip it out.
I got my 60ft consistently around 2-2.1. I know its not the best but it was my first time launching the car ever. My trap speed was around 88-89. I was getting 15.2-15.4 down the track. My mods are FMIC, intake, dp, up, cbe, mbc(15psi) and an AEM. I'm approximating around 200awhp but not verified. 02 bugeye. I used LACR's calcution to figure out sea level and I'm running a 14.7 supposedly. Isn't that slower than stock? Is my 60ft really affecting my time that much? I don't wanna use this as an excuse but I did have a bunch of crap in my car that I probaly should of took out.
EMS with the built in wideband.. Cobb AP was working too well with my car. And by extra weight I meant a floor jack with stands, a desktop computer and monitor, about 5lbs of clothes, a couple car parts that might add up to 20lbs? on top of the full weight of car with spare and everything.
Whats a good way to get them down more..? My 2.0 was when I was bouncing the revs between 6-7k but I know its not good for my tranny. If I can drop my 60ft down to 1.7-1.5, what kind of a change would I be looking at?
ehh could be more but I'm just not sure. My car hasn't been tuned to its full potential yet. Its my daily driver.
14s? bleh.. A freaking girl in a completely stock looking GTI had her boyfriend in the passenger side and was still running high 13s. And a SRT-4 stage 2 was running mid 13s. I need a bigger turbo..
I beat a 05 wrx with STI tranny and pretty much the same mods as me except he had a TMIC and Cobb AP. He had all STi badging around his car and wing and asked if I wanted to run. Lined, up and beat him, all happy when I find out its just a regular wrx.
