My Caddy!!!!! opinions

see the hot rod guys talk crap about tuners. But I think a lot of us tuners are just car guys with new cars.

So...some of you have seen my cadi...

Right now it looks like I'm shaving the handles and the emblems.

So colors....

what do you guys think?

Satin black body....flaked roof.
Roof could get flaked copper or St. Patty's green.

Or I could paint the car a really dark flat brown color with cream roof...pearl flakes.

What do you guys think?

I'm leaning toward the copper with copper/black interior.

oh yeah...and from those I've talked to...the carb is rebuilt. The car runs like a champ. It's out in San Juan Batista now awaiting the body/paint work. Got an interior guy that's gonna look at in a couple weeks.

Maybe I'll have it back at UCKK in early july.

Ah good, i thought you were going to say something like a 1985 or something, but this thing is a classic. I prefer the creamier colors as they always tend to look pretty classy on cars like this - so thats my vote - the brown and cream.

yeah...that one just came to me.

I've been trying to stay away from the vato look.

Right now plans are to lower it some. Shave the handles. clean up the body. paint. New interior...cream and black tuck and roll. New wheels...to run my 56 caps.

then I might spruce up the motor some. Look into air bags. Clean up the chrome.

But she's running killer. Mcdrama...you'll see it in santa cruz as early as this weekend.

That looks sweet. With all those sweeping curves and such, it would be almost tragic to not go with some sort of flake, metallic or a light pearl. Haha.. Shoot the whole thing Java Black Pearl with the green roof... Or do the colour/creme idea but mix a very light amount of a tasteful pearl in it. How about dark blue, dark silver and black.. My fav colours for a car. Anyway, the curved panels will look crazy in sunlight.
