04' WRX Release Date
I know the WRX STi wont be out for a little while, but i've been hearing so many different things. I want to know when the 04' WRX will be out? The reason I need to know this is cause i want to get the 03 wrx once the 04 comes out. This will be better cuz it'll likely be cheaper for an 03 wrx when the 04 does come out. anybody have any info on the actual date that the 04's will get to the dealer's lots?

Unless my dealer is BSing me, he said that I will get my car in March. When in March exactly, I don't know...but from my experience, when car companies say a car will be coming out on a specific month, its usually the begining of the month unless they specify. BTW, this thread probably doesn't belong in the STI forum.

I wouldn't count on getting an 03 cheaper than they already are... Irvine Subaru is already selling them at or below invoice on most cars.
I talked to SOA at the car show, the STi is actually going to be released BEFORE the regular WRX for the new body so I wouldn't count on getting your 04 WRX in March either.

more rumors?
I really think you got your facts mixed up. Everybody I've talked to may not agree on the arrival date of the WRX but all have agreed that the WRX will arrive before the STI...except you drmosh. I'm not flaming you but I really hope your info is inaccurate cause I'll be pissed if my 04 WRX arrives after June. Anybody else hear of anything like this?

i was told that the 04 new body sti will not be here till some time in june and that was definate... anyone have nay spect on the sti i want full scecs and cant get much of anything sept the hp and normal stuff... i wan to know boost ... lag ... yada i want full spece on this thing seeing as how i have already put 5g' on it and definatley am going to be driving one when it comes out but i cant wait........

Their reasoning for bringing out the STi BEFORE the WRX new body style is because of the Lancer Evo competition, so they want the STi to hit the market first. People will always buy the WRX because it's cheaper, so there's no rush to bring the new WRX bodystyle out while they can still sell the old one.
