I have one question though. why did that blue sti on the rack have stock exhaust on it? smog?

actually its a full spec group-n rally car.

and not only did it have stock exhaust it had the wrong exhaust (had WRX exhaust on it).

this car just came to us via another shop that had been working on the car for over 2.5 years. Most everything on the car needs to come off and get replaced as its all 50% completed, lots of little things that aren't right (wrong AN fittings, clamps, random bolts all loose and not where they belong, broken motor, etc...). Not sure why it was never completed but that is our job now.

someone put a lot of time and money into the car and to leave it 50/50 is a shame. That suspension thats on it is a rare find, Prodrive/Ohlins are one of the best setups, as well as the brakes Prodrive/Alcons, full tilton pedal box, hydraulic e-brake...not something you see everyday.

sure enough in about 3 weeks or so it will be back up and running properly.

thats what it was for buddy!

3 gallons of ice cream were had. and not to many left overs, maybe 60 ish sandwiches/wraps and 10 lbs of potato salad (lunch for the next couple of days).

thanks again for coming all this way, I know its a PITA to get out here, but we appreciated seeing those of you who could make it.
