Carolina RS/Subaru Specialists Rally party at ICON - Saturday, April 23rd
Saturday, April 23rd at 7pm.
1431 R Street, Sacramento.
Here's the press release:
Come support Icon's rally team CarolinaRS as they compete in the Oregon Trails Rally for North Coast Subaru, and have a chance to meet some of the CarolinaRS rally girls.
While the Johnson/Nakamoto team is busy competing in Oregon, local Sacramento rally fans and friends will be gathering at the Icon Restaurant downtown. The Sacramento area shop Subaru Specialists will present the event. Subaru Specialists offers the most knowledgeable and effective Subaru technicians in the area.
We will have representatives on site so bring along your Subaru questions.
Carolina RallySport, part of the NC Rally Team for the Oregon Rally, will be offering cutting edge video streaming of the event via on-board cameras from the Subarus of Johnson/Nakamoto and Dimiters/Monin.
When the footage is uploaded and ready for viewing it will be linked from the “Live Updates” section of the Rally America website. We will of course be displaying this on all the big screens down at Icon, but catch it online if you can't be there in person.
Icon will provide Complimentary VIP parking for Subarus.
Masterpiece Photography will be taking pictures at the event. Every one will have the opportunity to have your picture taken with the CarolinaRS rally babes and your car!
If you know someone in the Sacramento area with a Subaru, make sure they know about this event and Subaru Specialists!

With the press release out of the way, here's the deal.
We're co-sponsoring the Carolina RS rally team over a few events this season, and we've got a real treat lined up: live streaming of the stages from Oregon while the event is still being contested. This is unheard of in US rally, and the Carolina RS team of Matt Johnson/Wendy Nakamoto has been incredibly successful this season; it should be a very entertaining presentation. Not to mention Icon has dope food and a nice atmosphere.
Icon has graciously set up VIP parking right out front for our Scoobies, as well as arranging some rather attractive young women to hang out around them (and us
If everybody's cool, I'd like to move the meet for this week to the party downtown; we'll meet up at the meet spot as usual at 6, and then roll down around 6:30 or so to get the desired effect of 20+ Subarus roaring into the party
Dress code isn't going to be enforced, but try to step it up a bit; jeans are fine, but wear a nice shirt, or polo or something, we're throwing down at a nice restaurant/bar, not chilling in a parking lot

So here for all you people that need help dressing up.
You can never go wrong with this setup.
Khaki pants with a polo(grey or black) and dark shoes.
or
Jeans(not baggy) and a polo (grey or black) and nice shoes (Diesel or Kenneth Cole, or Adidas Tuscany's)
It's that simple.
Go down to Old Navy or Banana and get a setup there. Black shoes are better because you never know who will spill what on your shoes)
Or go like a pimp.
Black pants and a dress shirt (but no tie) The tie is too formal and you want to look like you came there to party.
