I want to install additional driving lights under the front bumper in the radiator intake area between the fog lights. On some of the roads I drive on there are no street lights and a lot of deer. Additional lighting is my only solution because I do not want to replace the fog lights or try and replace the headlight bulbs with a higher wattage bulb because it could possibly fry the wiring. My problem is this. I purchased PIAA rectangular lights and they will fit in the concerned area. They problem is that I am not sure how to mount them securely (to metal so that they do not shake). I tried to search online to see if anyone had what I needed, however, found nothing. The dealership said that they would install the lights for me, however, I had to find a way to mount them. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! Has anyone solved this problem of a mounting bracket and found the best and most secure way to attach additional lights in the radiator intake area. If so, can they advise how I should fabricate one. Or, does anyone know where I can purchase one that will meet my needs. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
don't the lights you purchased come with some kind of mounting brackets? i'd think you could either use these or modify them in a way to fit in the area you are mentioning....
else you should be able to fabricate up something pretty quickly, just need a visit to home depot or lowes and you should be good to go...
