SECCS still has a few slots open for the Aug 29th track school event at Reno-Fernley Raceway!
The Next Level driving school will be providing novice and advanced instruction, with six 30-minute track session! That's right, 3 hours of track time around the recently expanded 2.4 mile road course! This is a real-deal racetrack, less than 2 years old, with a new section opened just this spring. That's lots of brand new, smooth pavement just begging to get driven on!

The cost of the event is $200 per driver, and includes lunch at the track and a T-Shirt. This event will kick ***, and provide beginners with a great introduction to track driving, and veterans with tips for going faster, with plenty of seat time for all!
Reno-Fernley Raceway is located in the town of Fernley, about 30 minutes outside of Reno. (About 3 hours from Sacramento, or 4.5 hours from the Bay Area).
We've currently got 23 drivers registered for the event. We're looking for 30, so if you're interested, check out the out the Official SECCS track day thread over at the SECCS website.
Price goes up on Aug 13th, so register ASAP!

I'll be there, but probably not running, as I can't afford it.

I don't have a spare set of wheels/tires lying around, and I'm not going to cord the tires on my daily driver trying to wrestle the beast at full tilt around a 2.4 mile course
Plus, my new brakes need work, they wouldn't be very confidence-inspiring on the track
