Question getting paint

has anyone tried painting their own things like grills, lips, etc. small things actually. i've seen someone paint their corner lens in BRP (95H) to match the car.. i was just wondering if anyone else bought some paint to match the car... where and how much and how did you do it? any suggestions?

I know a lot of people try to paint there side skirts, some turned out good others not so good, just take your time and you should be fine.I saw that guys thread about his side markers, the one wityh the Morretts right? It looks like he did a killer job and it made the look of the car a lot better. I 'll try to find more info about how the did it and get back to you. I know for one that you going to want a fexible primer, you stock paint and probally a good amount of clear coat.

Also if you want it to match perfectly i would go to a body shop and get them to mix it for you, but i bet they charge an arm and a leg for it.

I painted my stock wheels and so far so good. there only winter/ AutoX wheels anyway so i dont care if they end up chipping.

yah its that guy with the morettes.. i PMed him and he doesn't remember what he used exactly because the stuff is at his parents house or something.. he will tell me later when he can. but he told me he spent about $100 to do everything. I was wondering if there was a cheaper way to do it while trying to keep the same good quality.

Go to www.paintscratch.com, and get spray paint. They have your exact color.

I've seen a WRX that painted it's own fog covers w/ the spray, PERFECT match.

Wow, a WRX can paint its own fog covers?

Daios, if you need to have anything painted, let me know because I will be sending stuff to a body shop in the future to get painted and I can have some stuff painted for you.
