any chance you can just scratch off the "canon" name and just write in "nikon" so i can buy it and pretend it will work on my camera?

or you could dump your nikon gear and convert to canon

This is a great lens and my favorite non-prime, so awesome for indoor or low-light situations! I'm definitely picking one of these up as soon as possible! 50mm 1.4 is still my favorite overall (because I have not used the 1.0 or 1.2 of course).
