Question '96 OUTBACK foglight question

My mom just aquired a '96 Outback and it has a broken foglight lense. I saw that the new Outbacks have clear lenses on thier foglights. I was wondering if the lenses on a new Outback would fit on a older one? I hate the old milky ones.
