i along with a couple of other people have discussed doing this, unfortunately i havne't been able to get any info from the dealer on this part. anybody else able to achieve this info from the dealer? my dealer says they don't even have the 2003 parts listing...wtf the 2003 models have been out for months now!
We have it on our 02 VDC Outback, maybe the parts are similar. I'll have a closer look and maybe take a pic. I can only compare it to a 99RS not sure how similar the WRX key area is to it.
Just wondering, for you WRX guys with the alarm upgrade, does your dome light come on when you disarm the system or turn off the car like my RS's? It makes it easier to find the keyhole. Light turns off in about 60 sec or when you start the car.
I guess the question is what does one wire it to? I'm sure I can take apart the OB's steering plastic cover and have a look in there and take some pics (when the wife isn't looking ) but there must be some delay that keeps it on I forget it may go w/ the dome light in the OB. Does the dome light stay on in the WRX after you shut the door?
