GC8 headlight Mod

I am currently doing a search on the mod of black out the "rim" inside the headlight, but I can't find any instruction for the mod.

Is it done with similar instruction as the 02 headlight mod?

preheat oven to 225....5-7 minutes in there pry the apart..dont forget to remove the metal clips before hand, as weel as the bulb and rubber boot....start prying them from the insides, ie part that touches the grill....its easier....the unscrew the frame and paint with high temp spray paint.....let that dry and redo backwoards...to be on the safe side you might also want to use some silicone///
