Anyone play the drums?
Just wondering if any of my fellow BAIC folks play the drums? Ive always just screwed around with my friends drumsets but now im actually looking into buying my own set and learning. The only problem is that I have no idea what the hell to look for. I dont need a baller set, just a good beginners/intermediate set.

I play. My first real set (still have it) is a Pacific Drums by DW set. When I got it, it was $599 drop shipped right to me. However, now I've noticed they are going for a lot more. I don't know if it's due to quality or just because people were buying them so they jacked up the price.
I'd suggest getting a cheap set for a couple hundred bucks before throwing down the cash for a medium-quality set. One thing to keep in mind is your neighbors though

you'd need a throne (I suggest a Pork Pie one.....they are amazing) and I'd add a ride cymbal/cymbal stand. That'd be a pretty good beginner set
