Warranty Work
I have a check engine light coming and going and problems with my clutch. I am curious where people take their cars for work. I'm looking for both good and bad stories... I wanna be sure to take it to the right shop. My car is still under warranty, but not for long.

I took what I had off and put it back to stock, what dealer would you take it to. I'm looking at where I'm going to get the best service.
Shaggadelic I'll give you a call this afternoon.

Nope, no exhaust. At least not yet. Wanted to milk the warranty as long as I could. I don't know why the light came on. I'll give you a call later and explain what's going on with it. If you can scan it, that would be great.

Had a manual boost control and an EMI adapter. I don't believe that either of these caused the problem as I had them long before I had issues. Not bad problems just not running right. Where does everybody take their care when they go to the dealer?

I'll second Shane on this... Waipahu's staff was pretty good to me and my 06 STI that was in for warranty repair work.
I don't have any mods except for (this is how it went in to them):
- Camber Bolts up front
- Falken AZENIS RT-615 tires
- Blitz Nur Spec Axle Back
They were reasonably responsive to my inquiries and requests for help
They were good at keeping me informed of the progress with my car.

Ive always taken mine to 5 Star... which has always been nothing but a headache.. 4 week turnaround time!!! 4 weeks my car was in there. On top of that i believe they no longer do warranty work, but are now just an automotive shop.
