20mm rear sway on 95 Impreza wagon. Safe?

I'm used to oversteer, but I'm questioning whether the 20mm rear sway will be too much for my needs. The car understeers a lot right now, with its prodrive P1 springs, KYB gr2 shocks, and 16mm rear sway, but it's very fast downhill because it's safe and easy to drive. Trail braking or lifting off under load will cause it to oversteer kindof a lot under certain circumstances

Will the 20mm screw me up? Will it be too much for the GR2's to handle, since they are already loaded up by the prodrive springs? Is it just too much rear sway for my current configuration?

All input is welcomed, as long as you have 93-01 impreza wagon specific knowledge. Not to be rude or anything, but it's an important question and I want to be sure about the answer.

Thanks

-Matt

i have a 20 im my 99 L. i have a VERY hard time getting it to oversteer. you have to tap the brakes to get the rear to slide out. dont worry at all about oversteer.

Interesting. Thats how my car is right now. So did you notice a marked decrease in understeer? Did you go from a 13 to 20?

Adding the 20mm rear bar will make it much easier to get the tail out on braking and lift-throttle into corners, but you'll still push coming out. I wouldn't call it an "unsafe" setup as long as you are aware enough to either not try to create rotation entering corners, or will be able to stay in the throttle when you feel it step out and not make it worse by lifting.
