HELP! Spark Plug non-fouler CEL fix
I found this thread at NASIOC and am currently using this fix. It cost only $5, or $10 if you want to make 2. This is a mechanical (non-electronic) CEL fix that only requires you to drill a 1/2" hole through one piece so that the O2 sensor won't bottom out.

How 2 make the CEL fix
The following is the Help! part# 42002 from Motormite. This will need to be modified by drilling through one so that the O2 sensor won't bottom out. With both pieces screwed together, the length is around 2". These are the 18mm tapered part, but there is also a 18mm flat mount style part# 42009. These can be purchased from any autoparts house, like Kragen, Pepboys, etc. Any place that carries the 'Help!' Motormite brand.
I actually bought both parts, then drilled a 1/2" hole through each #42002, then used the #42009 as the base, now I have 2 mechanical O2 bung fixes. Enjoy!

I drove out to Livermore from San Jose on 680 and NO CEL came on. It used to come on for sure after cruising on the freeway. So far so good, i'll report later if I get a CEL.

I'm still using my $5 CEL fix and have driven over 1000+ miles and no CEL! Why use the electronic fix, when this one works, and is easier to install (no soldering required).
Woohoo!
