HELP ASAP "east bay"
hey guys i went to lic motorsports to day and got a 60 k tune up and went great great shop great people! but once they took it for the test they said that my car was knocking and that i should get a tune asap but my problem is ....
i'm planning putting on a vf-30 and sti pink injecters b4 the tune so i need to put them on b4 the tune and i was wondering if any one can help me out on installling it because i'm low on cash, i'll supply food and drinks so if any one can that would b great!

i don't know...i have tbe, uppipe, ssbov, k&n drop-in-filter, and cobb v2 ap. Adam from LIC said it was doing it b/c mayb the Off the shelf map wasn't good enough or somthing...plus i got the car used so i don't know what the past owner did to the car i just hope all is good...

For the meantime I would say go back to stock bov and a stock map. I ran uppipe & tbe for almost a year w/ no problems, but I was on a completley stock ecu and stock bov. Hopefully that will get rid of the knocking and buy you some time temporarily so you can set up a day / time to get your turbo / inj. installed.

What jeff said. Put on your stock BOV.... with your mods listed you don't need an aftermarket one. The oem one works best unless your running over 20 psi. If you change it might help
