during the summer im a lifeguard at a beach near otis air base on cape cod. they fly all sorts of training and coastal defence missions out of there, and i remember about 7 years ago when they were trying out the predators one of those things flew in over the beach at about 150 feet, and it scared the living sh*t out of me. i know alot of the posters in this forum are military or ex-military, so you've probaly seen them before. but the seriously look like some sort of alien attack fiighter or something....


.....sorry i know that was random......by the way they should have taken the shot. this is one of those kind of things you regret in the future when say somone who you could have killed has nukes, or crashes planes into major landmarks of your country.(i know its a lil nerdy) but its like in spiderman, when he dosent stop the criminal he has a chance to stop, who goes on to kill his uncle.....maybe next time they'll take the shot

This is one of those instances where REMFs aren't thinking clearly. They most likely figured that they should treat these ****ers how they would want to be treated during mourning. Unfortunately, if the tables had been turned, the terrorists would have taken the shot no questions asked.

The worst part about this is that I think it puts too much control in the hands of those that are too "on the fence" regarding decisions like this. Before you know it we’ll have a team of young enlisted men rounding an extremely hot corner with a cameras on their helmets awaiting for the order to engage via headphone communication with these REMFs. Dangerous. Micromanaging in the military is precisely why I got out.
