Question engine question.....intellectualize me!

um...sti engines ...i'm not sure if they are sohc or dohc? anyone have engine lay out?

WRX are "boxer" engines... they're not DOHC nor SOHC cuz their not "over head cams" as in "OHC"

The cams are overhead of the pistons just like in an inline or V type engine, it's just that the engine is laid out horizontally (which is what the "boxer" refers to).
