-= 03-22-04 -- 1st West Coast Subaru Shootout! (Updated Jan 19th)

Here is what I can tell you so far:
Location: Buttonwillow Raceway
When: March 22, 2004
Price: $165
We are going to have 3 run groups. Maybe 4, but I think 3 will do it.
Run groups A, B and C based on experience. Each group will have 5 20min sessions.
A -- Track Experts
B -- Some track experience
C -- No track experience

Also, we are going to have a Tuner Time Attack Trial. Details are being worked out. Race against the clock.

Car show will also be organized there. So those of you who don't want to track race your cars are more than welcome to come. Remember, this is not just a track day. This is a huge Subaru event.
Car show will be judged and prises awarded to the following classes.
1. Best Sleeper
2. Best Tuned
3. Best of Show
We might split the 1 and 2 category into "Old School" and "New Age" depending on how many cars will enter.
So, if you are planning to attend, please post here so that I have an idea how many non-racing participants will be there.

Finally, SubyDude vs. Alex will take place there. I have been craving those meatballs.

Tech inspections will be done by GB Motorsports at the track.

COBB Tuning will most likely attend the event. Whoo-Hoo!

Gary Sheehan and TeamSMR will be there with their USTCC winning WRX.

Easy Street Motorsports will be there as well with their 9 second WRX. Whee!!!

Subaru will most likely be there too. I am trying to arrange for them to bring the new Legacy 2.5GT (Turbo!!!) to the track as.

ROTORA boys will be there as well. Besides displaying their uber cool brake kits for Subaru's, their drift team will be there as well and will do some exhibition drifting for us. Whoo!!! That will be awesome. So for all of those who won't make it to D1, that will be the next coolest thing.

World One Performance are also coming with their machines!!!
