Mess around with figure B and make sure you match the aspect ratio your tires.

Offset is not the only thing that determines "the lip". Wheel design is more important than the offset. You have have Advan RCII with -40 offset and you will still have no lip. 
You have to remember, given a wheel that does have SOME lip, lower offset would have more lip than higher offset version of the same wheel, but then again, if there was no lip to begin with, you ain't getting any regardless of the offset.
