UK Edition Series McRae 108/200
Hi everyone,
I am a new member on here and I would just like the chance to show you a few pictures of my cars. I currently own 4 Subaru's and 2 Classic Fords.
Here are a few pictures of my favourite Subaru, my 1996 Impreza Series McRae UK Edition.
Subaru made only 200 of these models and are all identical. Each car was given a number and is displayed on the plaque on the middle of the dashboard. Roughly have of them are still in existance today and are rarely seen on the road.
I have owned mine since 2009 and have taken it to many shows and end events. I have also accompanied the Colin McRae retail unit at various events including the large event Goodwood Festival of Speed. During my time helping out the retail unit I have got to know the McRae family quite well.
Here is a few pictures of the car(and maybe others in my collection)
Myself in Colin McRae's 95 winning Impreza
Here are few pictures of the people that have signed the dashboard..
Jimmy McRae
Alister McRae
Alison McRae
Ken Block

Car Info: ...zeh car drives you!
How should I put it...nope, zilch, zip, nada, nul, bubkus, f*ck all none
US did not even get a regular STi model until 2004, and even than it was US specific (2.5L engine vs. JDM 2.0L). There was a 2010 STi "Special Edition" that had like 3 bolt-on parts from a Spec-C (I am being serious) and for 2013 this 2013 Subaru WRX and STI Special Edition - 2012 Sema Auto Show - Motor Trend
There is really no market in US for those types of special editions; they don't have enough "badge" factor for the potential price tag (STi is already close to $40k IIRC). Subarus are not "status" cars, if that makes sense; the trouble of giving us models like in that link are just isn't worth the trouble That's my perception at least...
