will take some pics tonight as well of the beam pattern

The hi-beams do work BUT once i turn them off in the car, they remain on. The indicator light on the dash does turn off, but the lights will stay on high unless i flick them off/on real quick.

Love that retrofit. Was it hard to do? I wanna make my own set, but I can't trust myself to do a huge mod like that.

It ended up being a lot easier than I imagined it to be. I was always sketched about doing it too... but with the right price on parts and help offered by thejordan, I coudlnt resist lol

Nice retros! Those are the Gatling shrouds, correct?

Don't want to be nit-picky, but any plans on fixing the driver's side? Looks a few degrees off.

I think it was about 6 hours in total. That includes time to drive off to in-n-out and eat haha.

Took 15-20 mins per light to bake them and another 15-20 to rebake them.

If you decide to paint the reflectors inside like i did, then its another 20 mins or so between each coat.

And it was a little longer because jordan hadnt done bugeye headlights before, so we had to modify a couple things as we went compared to how he did his.

ok so last Wed, the 18, as i was pulling into a parking lot for work i noticed a gas smell. Didnt think much of it, thought maybe it was another car around me. Worked all day got back to my car and when i pulled up at home i smelled the gas again.... Popped the hood and looked all over and couldnt see anything noticeable. It was for sure coming from the drivers side of the engine tho.

Next day I drive to school and again I smell gas. Its mainly when stopped/parked that i could smell it most. When i had my air vents for ourside air, it was pulling the fumes in and that was all bad.

I ended up heading to the Thurs night meet for a bit and told a few guys about the smell. We popped my hood and BOOM the smell just hits everyone right in the face We all looked around but couldnt really see too much but did all agree it was on the drivers side of the engine.

I got home and really didnt feel comfortable driving the car anymore due to how much stronger the smell had gotten. Had a buddy come over Friday evening to take a look. ..... well we found the probelm. A metal bracket inside my engine bay was loose and cut a hole into the hard fuel line coming off the drivers side fuel rail.

i cant believe there was THAT much gas just spitting all over my engine
im really glad there was no fire... today we are pulling the fuel rail out and replacing it. I got super lucky with another friend that just had one laying around!

Ill snag a pic of the busted fuel rail line once its out of the car.

Yeah that's probably not real good for fuel mileage either lol.
Glad nothing caught fire.
