Sweet, I just preordered the expansion valve from kragen.
So you only used 1 can of r-134a? Did it have a gauge on it and did it contain any of that sealer stuff? I think I read our cars take around 14-18 ounces and 1 can is 12 oz. I'll probably try 1 can first and see how that goes. I have an old a/c gauge system but the hoses have different connections :\
I can't wait to work on it on the weekend. Fixing stuff yourself feels awesome

Yea I only used one can. Figured that would be all I would need due to the fact that I didnt evacuate the entire system. The can I bought also contained the sealer type r134a too.
I got my friend to fill the system because I dont have any of the hoses or gauges to measure the pressure in the system. So i gave him a couple beers and he did it

The gauges and dashboard lights look soooo clean!! I'm definitely diggin the blue. And finalllly I know what those circles behind the front grill are in everyone's WRX...Hella supertones! I might pick up a set just for the asthetics -.^
