It's probably a WRX with a FMIC and RS hood. I think it's a great idea. Why have the scoop if it doesn't serve a purpose?

it could serve a purpose, remount your intake, and you can keep the look of hood scoop, and it serves a purpose.

i'd turn the scoop around and make a cowl induction style type of hood... that turbo does get pretty hot under that hood- if you look close enough on the scoop there is a separate chamber just for the turbo. . .
