Went back and read the Wednesday thread. (I spent wednesday dealing with broken cars.)

It's funny seeing all the Matrix gifs. The guy who hit me, his name was Thomas Anderson.

Coincidence?

You were the Deja Vu in the system that day.

Sucks about the car. What's the plan if they salvage you out?

Go back and get as many of the parts as I can. Buy another car.

I just realized that it will be hard to disconnect the battery to get my steering wheel.

I'm worried about 2 things. If it will be totalled and how much fault I'll be at.

The car's not worth much. If it's totalled, I won't have a lot of money to buy something else. I also don't know how many of the parts I want to try to get off the car.

If I'm at fault, my deductable is retarded high.

Don't see how you will be at fault for this since you weren't the person that created the chain reaction

If you're moving and you rear-end someone, you're at fault--not following at a safe distance. If you're pushed into the car ahead of you, the pusher is at fault.

Had a buddy in a pile-up similar to his--he was the creme in a 3-car Oreo. Front car tried going after him AND the other cookie, but told the cops that my buddy was stopped, and it go tossed.

With what he said above, it sounds like he got pushed into the car in front.

Thanks. For the most part, everyone involved was ok. There was one lady at the back who's car had easily the most damage. I thought she was in the ambulance for a bit. But then I saw her sitting in the tow truck. I think she was ok. It was kind of funny seeing the paramedics walking back like, "Welp, nothing to do here."

I'm glad that I had my racing seat in the car. If I was sitting in the stock seat, it would have failed and I would have been hit again while sitting in a reclined seat. After the first hit, I started to lean forward. Got hit the second time to which I realized, **** we're not done, and I leaned back into the seat.

That's good to know. My statement has been that I was hit 3 times. Hopefully the guy in front of me hasn't been saying 4.

The guy that pushed the Jeep in to me, try to tell his insurance that the Jeep already hit me before he hit the Jeep. And you can always by my old subaru.

Meanwhile, I've been driving my mom's car. Spent Wednesday driving it to her mechanic twice and stopped at the dealer yesterday. ///Bimmerproblems

Oh dear. I've got 5 outs behind me. I feel bad for Thomas, the old guy in the minivan behind me, He just got new headlights that were broken in the accident. The damage between him and I were pretty minimal. Even the car in front of me wasn't that messed up. The nose on my car is hosed though.
