Ya I initially create an image and as long as we order the same hardware I use that image which was originally created. But I have run into some snags where I have ordered the same hardware a month or so apart and the manufacturer has replaced/changed something and that's when the fun starts happening.

That's crazy to have to create an image each time but I guess if your not getting the same hardware each time you'd have to do that

yea its norm far between each order it just doesnt work out. The last time we got 4 machines in, i set 1 all up and imaged it to the other 3

Such a PITA, working on restoring a bunch of data and then we have a 'if you have an urgent request let us know first' policy so I have a bunch of users asking to be restored first.

Really tired of it.

Ah, I remeber when you know who forbid us from using images.
