Lots of little things bother me.
The last two movies (#3 & remake) were PG-13 not the hard R of the first. Most of my gripes start with that.
I don't like the costume in the remake.
Lack of good quotes. I can't think of a single quote from 3 or the remake while I can run on and on fro the original. (Give the guy a hand)
The special effects got watered down (part of the PG-13 problem) Then too much CGI for the remake. I Liked the stop motion, and puppet effects.
Lack of quality bad guys, #1 villains just felt more fleshed out. The Robot ninjas in 3 were particularly bad. and in the remake the bad guys were too vague and unrelatable for the viewer to relate.
Social commentary got watered down. the news reports and commercials were both funny and challenged life in future america. the fake Fox new stuff just feels weird.
Quality of the actors is so hit and miss.
The films also lost track of the core plot, a man stuck in a machine with limited memories and a family that is no more. The ending to the remake was one step away form being Jingle All the Way
while this is a bit too much, even for me, i'd like to see something more like this in my robocop
