Hmm, thanks for the input everyone. Yeah it is for home. Seems pretty divded haha. Spool of 1000 ft cat6 solid full copper wire for like $150 I think? If I can use all the same connectors and stuff I already have I'd probably go that way to future proof, although, yeah idk if I'd ever really need it? I'll have to do some more investigating but I think each room was previously wired up for phone connections so pulling up Ethernet cable through the phone lines should be pretty easy

Also, it depends what you want to do with your network looking down the road. Central place to have all your files, laptops, desktops, wireless devices etc etc. Also, since you can you should look into Surewest instead of using Crapcast.

I would say get the top stuff. Considering there are houses with tube and **** wiring from the '40s. That **** is going to be in the walls for a while.
