So... May 11th some dude posts up a set of wheels on fb. No details. No price. Make an offer. I look at the pictures. The wheels are pretty ****. 17" unknown width and offset Rotas that are curbed and have 225 Hercules tires. The whole thing is pretty ****. But I can go for another set of wheels.

I figure that they are 17x7.5+48 and I don't give a **** about the tires.

I offer the guy $200.

He counters with $400.

I tell him $400 is ridiculous and ask for justification. He sends some more pictures of the back of the wheels. They are actually 8" wide. not 7.5".

May 25th, 2 weeks later. Guy sends me a message, "Wheels still for sale $350 now."

I don't reply.

Today, June 21st, almost 4 weeks later. Guy sends me a message, "Never sold them 300?"

I still haven't replied.




This might be the best negotiating I have ever done.
