Howdy Monday
"How's your mom and them?" as they say here..
Houston, so far, isn't bad other than the $3.50 in tolls it took to get out of the airport. Planning on doing some exploring later.
Things learned yesterday:
(1) Everything really is bigger in Texas. Just.. everything.
(2) UFO brand beer isn't very good.
(3) Whole Foods here sells BBQ (ribs, brisket, hot links, etc)--it may be Whole Foods, but it's still Texas.

You're not that much taller than me, stretch. Thomas, Law and I are about the same height.
True story. I had a friend, born and raised in Texas, tell me he was a Texan first, and American second.

That's what we aim for, but I don't actually fall asleep until about 11:30-12.
Try doing it with a 2-hour time change..
