Honestly if I were you I'd be more likely to let them total the car and find a nice Outback Sport with fewer miles. Don't deal with a salvage car unless you really need to.

I have no problem with salvaged cars.

But when it comes so close to being totaled, I'd never choose to repair when you can get the car's value to put into a new (not necessarily brand new) car of your choice.

I dunno. Maybe I'm weird.

Knock on wood, i haven't had a single issue with my car, the only reasone that i want them to fix it, is cuz we cant afford another car payment, we are paying for daves car and with the baby on the way, there is no extra $$$$ for car payment, majority of the cost on the car is coming from labor and paint, not parts, so this is why we want it to be fixed, ones the kid is a little older then, we can invest in a newer car, but for now (unless we win the lottery) we cant afford and extra car payment.
