There is this one semi-major road by my house with a speed limit of 40...anyways..i was going 41 and I know the cops are uptight about speeding, especially on prom night. So I look at my spedometer and see I was going 41, so then I tap the brake, then I look to my right and see a cop idling in a street... I pass the lights and I see him dash out of his spot and come rushing behind me. He pulls me over and asks if I knew why he pulled me over, I said "maybe going a little too fast" he replied with "no, you're missing your front license plates."
Well, I was pissed because I didn't feel like dealing with the cops for 10 minutes of my time and my mom didn't replace the front license plate as I asked of her after winter since it fell due to lots of snow.
The officer gave me the option of getting a 30 dollar "equipment violation" fee or court, I chose the fee.
Whatever, could have been worse. I could have had a beer earlier as I had planned for the day... lucky me.
