Any Climbers Here?

Not sure if this thread should be somewhere else, but I was just curious if there are any other chalk jockies on these boards. I'm assuming there must be, subies seem to be pretty well suited to the lifestyle.

Unfortunately I have never had a chance to climb outside, and get a real experience, but I do climb frequently at the fitness club I go to, and I actually as a supervisor for the rock wall there.

I am hoping to get a chance to do some real climbing this summer.

You should go climbing now!! Southern IL is waaaaay too hot and humid in the summer to have a good time climbing... the friction is awful! Right now might be a tad cold, but the friction is there. I recommend you get out there before may, because after that it's gonna be a sweaty, buggy mess.

edit: the weather looks perfect right now, get out there!!

I pretend to climb at a VERY good spot locally, I love climbing, but don't have time/patience to "climb" actively...

Pretty much everytime I go hiking I do some bouldering of some sort that SHOULD involve crashpads, but alas I live on the edge...

I have some climbing shoes that I take hiking w/ me... they are something something Diablos, a buddy gave to me, the work well though...
