Way to go Solberg!! where are you racing this weekend? somewhere on the left coast i assume.
I'm sure the board will be well updated.
Have a fun and safe race!

Angry NOOOOO!

"Petter Solberg didn't seem too despondent after retiring from the Rally of Turkey, as the Norwegian claims his Impreza is perfectly set up for the next gravel round in Aprils Rally New Zealand.

Solberg was leading the event heading into SS4, but three kilometres into the stage he approached a corner, put on opposite lock and hit a small rock with the inside right wheel. It broke a trackrod.

"That's just how it is sometimes," he said. It's a shame to have such bad luck but I must say the car is feeling so good that I'm not too upset. I don't think we can set the car up much better than we did for this event, so I don't have a lot to do before New Zealand. Despite today, I'm still feeling very positive."" -WRC.com

how awful is that!?!?!? leading after stage 4, and then out! not as bad as Loeb who went the wrong way down the road, and ran out of fuel.... wooops
at least Mak is in top 3.
after finishing 4 stages.
1. H ROVANPERÄ 51:31.4
2. F DUVAL +15.8
3. T MÄKINEN +16.4
4. G PANIZZI +17.9
5. C SAINZ +18.9
6. C MCRAE +34.4
7. A SCHWARZ +36.4
8. R BURNS +40.4

annnnd then just out of the service park his P/S broke again!!!
"I'm not sure quite what's going on," he remarked with unwarranted cheerfulness at final service. "Still, with this stupid points system we have now, maybe there's still a chance we can score a point or to. So we have to keep going." -Gronholm, wrc.com
man, even Solberg doesn't complain like that, and hes only finished 1 of the last 3 rallies! just one more reason i don't like Gro(a)nholm.
o well.

Hey Tommi is still in! A lot of the top drivers are still in it. Burns and McCrae can come on strong to take the lead! Hope not. GO TOMMI!

PJ...

Just got home...late and very tired.

Was a great time until we rolled three times!!! lol

The *** end of the car came loose and my driver couldn't get it back...did a 180 with my rear side hitting the ditch...projected us to the other side and boom, boom, boom..
(think it was just a bit slick in that section, but we were going around 110mph)

Sort of funny lying on the drivers side of the car...I could here spectators saying..do you want a push over...I can't see them, but I say yes!!

Rock us a bit..and I think we got righted on the fourth try. Drove a few hundred yards to see if things were good to go...figured lets go...went into service and #5 had coolant in it..so we were done for the weekend...

Dang but that was a fun roll!! We just giggled about it!!
