North Nevada Rally 2011!
Hopefully this is already on your calendars, but if not, NNR is July 8-9th this year!
Same format as last year with Friday recce, Friday night stages and race all day Saturday. This will be a RallyCar/Rally America sanctioned event, so no bikes this year (sorry).
We're trying to put together a rally cross that Sunday as well, and we'll have special discounts at the rallyX for volunteers.
I'll also be offering discounts for my rallyX events at Prairie City in September for both competitors and volunteers.
Registration details and schedules, etc, etc will follow soon, but for now, here's a preview!!

The Great Basin Rally Group LLC proudly announces the 2011 North Nevada Rally, July 8-9th. Based in Lovelock, NV, this year’s rally will feature 120 stage miles of smooth and twisty Nevada desert roads.
With a compact two-day schedule, competitors will recce Friday, race 40 night stages Friday evening, and then race all day Saturday, finishing near Gerlack, NV, with the awards ceremony later that evening.
NNR is sanctioned by RallyCar/RallyAmerica and part of California Rally Series, SouthWest Rally Cup Series, Bilstein Cup Class, and the newly created Joshua A. Norton Rally Championship. There will be ~$1,000 in prizes given out courtesy of Lucas Oil!
Competitors are expected from the Pacific North West, Northern and Southern California, Idaho and Arizona (…and…??) for some exceptional grassroots rally competition.
Organizers are still recruiting volunteers for all positions, so this is your chance to come out and support one of the few rallies available in the Northern Nevada/California region. Volunteers (and competitors) can register online at www.RallyData.com.

Because our insurance is not allowing spectators, the only way to actually watch this rally is to help out on stage. You'll actually get to drive the roads (responsibly!), bring a few buddies and hang out with some basic responsibilities (road blocks....radio check points, etc) and see EVERY rally car up close in action! And of course, learn about how a rally is actually run, meet other rally/subaru peeps, and generally have a good time.

Mendocino rally is coming up in early August as well, so another chance to use it.
