I ran into a photo blog with some crazy fools. They were spending a few days at a time out on the mothball fleet. Then was out on the Concord naval weapons station and Vandenburg afb. Among other places. Sick photos. Just not sure its worth the crime. They would seek in at night. Work at night. Then hide out sleeping by day. Most the time spending 2-3 days per trip.

Loving it!!well mostly because of the AF,pretty quick!!a bit lighter and smaller than the 1.4 which makes it easier to lug around.did I forget to tell you I finally traded my d7k for the d700

If you guys promise not to poke fun and laugh AT me, Id like to join in and learn so Im not just another "photographer" with another digital camera.
Heres the test to see if I will be laughed out of here or not... my camera is the Canon T1i
Old Guy and I have shot together (the light painting of our cars back in Sep) so Id like to get to the semi pro level but to be honest I dont have the faintest idea where to start.
Ive been told I have a good eye for shots... but when it comes to the technical jargon and all the settings... Im a noob as a noob can get.

T1i is great for a starting camera IMO.
As a highschooler, I have found that having different spectrums of projects (Landscape, Urban Landscape, Car photography, Toys, Night photo, etc.) are good to find out how to do multiple types of photography. Due to this, I have a better sense of what makes a good pic, and how to set it up (Angle, lighting), however, I am still no expert, or pro. Still a progression.
BTW, Pic looks good! However, I would personally drop the Whites down a bit.
