I know, I have a buddy that lives in Orinda and there're no joke.

Remember on the news a couple years ago they where starting too attack people. Reminds me of South Park lol

Yeah I almost always shoot in AP mode. I recommend a 35mm f/1.8 for low light. I still have a SB-600 and a tripod for some cool night shots.

I live in the city so the deer don't bother me much

i have a 50 1.8 that i was using and trying to get used to,still not used shooting with primes lol!!picked up an 18-55 vr and im loving it!!was planning on picking up the rokinon 85mm II but since our tv crapped out thats gonna wait a lot longer lol!!

I rarely use my 50mm prime because the Zeiss 24-70 has a much shorter focusing distance.I'm trying to force myself to use it though

And also too expensive

For us cropped sensor people, the 17-55mm f/2.8 is a really good lens. I just don't have $1100 for it

I have the 18-55mm VR and that's what's on my lens 90% of the time. There's always the 18-200mm but I'm not too sure about the photo quality of a super zoom.

I just wish that lens had VR. I love being able to take hand held pics at 1/3 and have sharp pics 80% of the time.

super zooms are nice for portrait and car close ups,let me find some old ones i shot with my d50.the 24-70 i have is a sigma which came with the camera when i got it (amazon bundle)tried renting lens to try them out?
