The problem with your skies is that you're in Monterey

If you like rich colors and want blue skies (on days there actually IS a blue sky) you should look into a circular polarizer.

I have a circular polarizer filter that I use quiet a bit I still want a ND grad filter to darken the sky but keep the landscape bright.

I seriously hate Monterey's weather some time.

Jz oo7 shoots a lot of film. I've shot film recently, just haven't developed any this decade

I tested a D7000 while I was at Bestbuy earlier and man, that camera was amazing!

I shot it at 6400 ISO and it looked just as good if not better than my D90 at 1600 ISO Amazing for a cropped sensor body. Really makes me want to upgrade.

yeah im loving my d7000,considering my last one was a d50.mostly shot auto with it,now im starting to play around with Ap mode more often.still trying to get the hang of shooting at night w/o flash when there's enough lighting.
