Actually the AB are the ones that are super inconsistant and have a magenta color shift if you use them lower than 1/4 power

Interesting. The only shoot I've noticed shifting color on was the bridal one, and I chalked that up to the constantly changing "white" of the different dresses. The only time I've noticed the magenta issue was the above self-portrait. Both times I failed to set a white balance before shooting

I'll try to dig up what made me make up my mind. I have a feeling overall quality (both units are made in China, so "build quality" is relative) and customer service.

Customer service is good, cant knock that at all.

You have to keep the power setting up. The higher the better

We were just playing around at the meet lastnight. I think its one of my favorite shots in the playing around cat. Those shop lights require to much thinking for me to deal with.. least at a parking lot subie meet. I was with 3 others and we got a lot of WTF looks and finger pointing.. Pulling out those lights and I might land an airplane in the parking lot!

Your picture is going to make my picture look like little kid finger painting.

I'd love to see what you come up with. If its like your other work.. Its going to be great!

I was at f11 and at 30 seconds. Using a 50mm 1.4 on a Sony A850.
