i hardly know anything about them, so will do. I just see landscape and 4x5 in the same sentance all the time, so i put 2 and 2 together.

yes, they are made for each other. 4x5 is truly the art of photography. when i go down hwy 1 and take my 4x5 it is really funny. i take my time taking just one amazing shot while i watch all these cars with small digital snapping like crazy. so while people have shot almost a 100 shots, i do one. i get the most amazing results because i can manipulate the caputre of the image and then scan it to a huge print. i have done prints as large at 4x5 feet. they are on my walls at home and the details are as if you're there.

This is one of my favorite all time landscapes shots. I have it hanging in the livingroom.

This was taken by the Man, Ansel Adams with a 4X5 format camera

Yeah dude, of course. Just let me know before hand and I'll make sure I'll be here and will be happy to show you around as well as give you a taste. I hope you like Cabernet cuz thats all we grow As for the vine shots, the vines are pretty barren right now cuz they are in hibernation, and have not been pruned yet so there are tons of naked canes going in every direction. Much like this:

So if that is what you are lookin for, by all means. It will be a little while longer before they start to sprout new shoots.

some nikkor lenses come in white/gray as well. canon claims that white lenses stay cooler in the sun, so the all the stuff inside stays cool so heat won't affect picture quality as much. after shooting in 100º+ weather with black nikon lenses, i'm a believer.
