WRX Converted Porsche 914
Hello folks!
I have a 73' 914 that has a 2004 WRX engine installed. The only fabrication needed was a custom engine cradel, custom up and down pipes (needed so that the new powerplant would fit in the stock location), a Kennedy adaptor plate to mate the suby to a Porsche tranny, relocate the turbo and intercooler and fab an exhaust system. I would appreciate any feedback from you all regarding a bad-*** sounding muffler. Remember the exhaust is custom, so an entire system would probably not be needed, just the muffler is what I am after... I was looking at a Borla, but any advise is welcome.
BTW,
The car is a rocket on rollerskates...

The weight of the car is about 1900 lbs, brakes are are taken care of using a 1987 911 Carrera front end with Carrera brakes. The rear end brakes, I am using the 914-6 brakes that are slightly larger and cross drilled discs than the stock 914 front brakes.
My old roomate has one of these on the road, it hauls ***! We have a Suby car club called flat-4 they meet on Thursday nights here in Vegas. We have gone down there several times, and at first they did not know why a 914 was hanging around until someone noticed a EJ20 in the engine bay... Now we are one of the guys. We have taken a couple of people for rides, and they can not believe how fast this car is. We took this one guy for a ride who has a brand new STI, he was flat out crapping his pants with the power these cars have. 1st gear is good for about 60 MPH, 2nd - 90 MPH 3rd 120ish and 4th is good for 150+. All together, I will have about $15K in the car. Insurance is about $200 a year! and Registration is a breeze, you only need to pass the smog regulations of 1973 (easily done with 2004 technology). And the little car gets about 33 MPG! As soon as I am done with my car, European Trends wants to do an article on it.

and dude with a weight of 1900 lbs you are looking at some serious numbers-
roughly 8lbs/HP - almost 3 lbs better than a stock STi

Wow, imagine if you had the new 2.5L installed! The torque would be amazing with that little 914. My dad is a huge car fan, especially Porsche (we own two, 79' 930 & 92 911T) and he would **** bricks if he saw something like this. He loves the 914 and said it handled unlike anything.
Have fun with that! Would you possibly have a how-to? Not a extremely detailed one, but one that highlights what will be needed and what troubles/things you ran into.
