I'm curious too, inasmuch as I've considered it (better spool, still decent mileage). Know a lot of folks just go 2.5 or bigger if they're gonna stroke anything.

and this is how a JDM shifter looks like . lol , i guess it got damaged from shipping. took me 2 hours just to straighten up the shifter .Vendor is giving me a free brand new shift ****..

I'm not using the sleeved block anymore .main journal need to get align hone. got another block from Robs auto machine shop at Hayward . He did all the machining , clearance and assembly. updated (rod bearings spun. its possible from the grind crank )
