Everything finally made it except one package which i don't know if it is lost from Sandy or just still not here. Let's hope it's here before the big day which is Friday. I'm kind of nervous about Friday as well. I wanted to have everything perfect and installed and 100% and it looks like everything but my big package will be installed. Kinda sucks but at least i'll get a refund on my money if it never shows up. I also am looking at the weather and see that it will be raining on Friday which kinda sucks, i wonder how that'll affect my tunes if at all.

Tomorrow is the big day. Today I'll be running around grabbing items I probably won't need but just want to be safe and have everything on hand. My fmic never made it which blows...so hard since I just sold my Perrin one. Import Image Racing sucks but it's not really their fault. Loading up 15 gallons of E85 from Propel down here to bring up with me.
My list for tomorrow.
Extra oil + filter
Extra Coolant
Stock plugs (incase we don't need the one step colders I have in there)
Ewg/up (incase I need it)
ID1000's
15 gallons of E85
Fuel funnel
Shop towels
Macbook
Camera
GO-PRO
And I think that's all I'll need.
Tomorrow it's supposed to storm so kinda wondering how that's going to affect my tunes if at all. We will see.
I'll be doing some light maintenance on the car this afternoon like a fresh new intake filter, new oil, and clean MAF.

So today started off crappy with rain and cold weather which sucked for driving but great for the car to keep cool. I battled my way through traffic which blows when it's raining because people seem to think they can some how drive FASTER when there is water on the floor
Anyways i made it to EQ at 10am just in time for my appointment. I had been nervous the whole drive up there expecting the worst case scenario which was my motor wasn't any good for pushing it further. You might ask why i was thinking this since my car is fairly new. I had no issues with my car at all it's been tuned for 20k miles and the car doesn't eat any oil that i've noticed, i do all my oil changes every 3k on the dot or before! I was just scaring myself into this paranoid state because i've had friends blow motors with only 10k miles on the clock.
Break down of what i was doing
91
My goal for today was to make reliable power without pushing the car to any specific number. I told Ed i wanted a tune i could track on without having to worry. Repeatedly i said no emphasis on making power on 91 since it's just to unpredictable as i've noticed the last couple weeks. Ed took my words and went with it and did his thing. After the first couple runs i was already impressed with what numbers it was making on a SAFE tune. I even saw Ed's eyebrow raise on my initial pull because my car put down higher then normal numbers on 91 with ease. My Final numbers on 91 were 292HP/317tq.
E85
Ed and his team helped drain and flush my fuel system of any 91 i still had left after tuning. We then started adding E85 in a gallon at a time to make sure it gets through the entire fuel system and dilutes any remaining 91. We did this for a while to make sure it was all gone and i'd be safe.
I've always heard this is the magic stuff that really makes your car come alive. After seeing my buddy Paul with a built STi gain almost 60-70hp off fuel alone made me do some hard thinking if i wanted to convert. I thought about it for the last couple months and asked a lot of questions to fellow members that attend meets and such. With everything considered i decided to finally go ahead and do it to see what my girl will make.
Run after run i was so shocked at the power i was now achieving, it was incredible i was making 350hp+ 400tq+
Ed spent some more time fine tuning it once we settled on a good number and made sure it was extremely safe as well. Ed told me this is the most conservative E85 tune he's done so that makes me feel confident that my car still has more in her if i want to go there but reliable enough to not have to cross my fingers every time i do a pull.
Ed and his team did a great job on my car and i will write a much better post tomorrow from my computer at some point and attach videos of my runs. From what i can tell on my ride home the car feels ultra smooth and accelerates very quickly! Boost comes on so fast it's scary LOL. Unfortunately i am not going ***** out right now since it's pouring rain and don't want to push my luck but best believe when the weather clears up i will be putting the car through it's paces so i can give a very good review about the difference in the two tuners i've had tune my car (Ed @ EQ & Eric @ Torqued Performance)
Till tomorrow!
