Car Info: 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Hatchback
Impreza Obsessed
Hey everyone, new to the forum, but not to the world of subis. This is my 4th impreza I've owned.
2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i (87,000 miles)
Auto (knee surgery... its just better this way)
Color: Satin White Pearl
I have honestly been searching for an 08+ impreza for the past few years and the market here in Colorado is an absolute joke for buying a used awd car, So I booked a $70 flight and grabbed my new car at a dealer in Pittsburgh.
It was a fantastic first date with my car. a 1400 mile 24 hour drive. I figured this trip was either meant to be or I am just a crazy man obsessed with cars.
Got the car back to Colorado with no issues at all.
First thing I noticed was a very soft and sloppy suspension on this car. I mean its like they didnt put a rear sway bar on there... oh yeah they didnt... So My first upgrades I plan on doing are all suspension related.
Upon getting under the Subi, I noticed I had a front broken endlink, to me this sounded like a great starting point.
Cusco Front Endlinks
Whiteline 22mm Front Sway bar upgrade
SPT Front Strut Bar
Next paycheck plan on getting the whiteline 22mm rear sway bar kit and rear sway bar mount brace.
My dog in the pic!
Future summer plans include 27-35% tint and 18" XXR 551 or 18"
Rota Gravels.
Also I hated all the chrome and plastic on the front OEM grill, so I originally bought a JDM knock off and it didn't fit 100% perfect, so I decided to hack up my stock one and paint the chrome black for now. I honestly think it looks pretty damn good. But once i get the JDM one painted I might switch back. Love having 2 options.
