I never really thought I would like a legacy wagon, but I am very impressed, that is very clean and very smoothe. I love the less the colors a car has, I am trying to go, blue hid, red tail and everything else black and white for my white 2000 Impreza Wagon, wagon power dude, only way to fly!!!

808, those were the old shop graphics, we've since moved on to the smaller fender badges you see in the later pictures. No stripes anymore :|
Thanks for all the comments, guys

I thought it'd be funny to chronicle all my rolling stock over the years.......
Stockers (sold)
99 RS wheels (first set, later PC'd black and put on our racecar)
Gram Lights (traded for the P1's)
WRX 16's (winter wheels, sold)
Second set of 99's (winter wheels, lived a short life on our shop drift car)
Rota Actions (relegated to track wheels, whenever I start tracking)
01 RS wheels, rattlecanned black (very temporary, now on one of the shop Leg Turbos.)
Prodrive P1's
Not pictured:
'01 RS wheels, never made it onto my car before being put on a shop car.
Gunmetallic SDR's, new winter wheels that will clear Stoptechs
White Rota Attacks, my total ricer wheels.
Gunmetallic Torques, sitting under my bed (warranty replacements for the white Actions)
Okay, so maybe I do have a sickness
Let's not talk about brakes, ok? The Stoptechs will be the 4th set of 4pots alone I've bought for the car, and then there's been 2 sets of WRX brakes.
I need to make up my mind once in a while

Where/how did you...
1. Find the Morette headlights?
2. Fit the Hella 500s fogs. Did they need any modification to fit in the OEM holes/brackets?
3. Did the WRX struts lower the car or simply improve handling?
4. Does the swapped Turbo engine need any mods to fit in the OBW?
Very inspirational project. I have a 98 Outback LTD with 234K miles. Improving the lighting is an urgent priority for me, and when the motor eventually needs its rebuild I plan to improve it much as you have yours.
Thanks for showing the project in such detail.

I got the Morette headlights from a dealer that's now defunct; it took like 8 months, I'm not totally sure where to get the Legacy units, as noone has them in stock anywhere.
The 500s go in pretty easily, but do require some fab, depending on how you'd like to mount them. I actually hung them upside down, using an L-bracket in the top of the foglight opening, as I couldn't find a good way to mount them to the stock bracket.
The WRX struts would lower the car about an inch, but be careful; if you're still running OB-height tires, you'll get hard interference with the spring perch on anything other than OB struts in the rear. I had to run shorter, WRX/RS/GT sizing. This isn't bad, as it gives you better gearing, less sidewall flex, and lowers the car another 1/2 inch, but you do increar relative wheel gap, and the gearing change throws off your speedo by about 6mph at 70. This means if your speedo is indicating 70 mph, you're only doing around 64-65.
The motor will physically swap in, though you'll need either a turbo crossmemeber (from a Legacy turbo or a WRX) or a custom uppip, or a custom cutout on your stock crossmemeber for the uppipe that now connects your headers to the turbo at the top of the motor.
There's quite a bit of wiring involved, though; plan on a minimum of 3-4k if you're going to have a shop do it, or many hours of wire tracing if you're doing it yourself
